I recently stayed at the charming Hostal Riviera Sucre for a weeklong trip to Ecuador. This hotel truly captures the essence of Ecuadorian culture with its beautifully painted rooms and a delightful breakfast served in a picturesque garden. Despite the chilly weather in Otavalo, my room was pleasantly warm, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The ancestral home-turned-hotel exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complete with colorful courtyards, gardens, and captivating art pieces. The manager was excellent in communicating and even provided free parking nearby. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot, and I thoroughly enjoyed the character and uniqueness of this hotel.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. - the location of the hotel was ideal, as it was within walking distance to many key sites in the area.
The room we stayed in was facing a busy street, which resulted in a lot of noise during the night. We were constantly woken up by loud singing and had difficulty falling back asleep.
